WINTER PICKLEBALL, 2013 IS HERE

A Growing Sport:

The immensely popular game of Pickleball has spread so rapidly around the country that many RV parks, retirement projects and community  developments have either added courts or put them into their plans. “We are building more pickleball courts than anything else,” agreed MidPac’s owner Al Stultz, a former satellite tour tennis player from Seattle who has been building and resurfacing tennis and other sport courts for 30 years. AZT WINTER PICKLEBALL PLAY...

Our 6 AZT pickleball courts are kept busy these mornings with club members, dressing for the cooler weather and enjoying good rounds of pickleball  The Club Board extends an invitation to those AZT Residents and Renters who are here for the winter to come and join us for the fun and exercise.  If you are not a member, join the club for the time you are here and experience all that the club has to offer.  Come make new friends!

Our Annual Arizona Traditions Pickleball Club MEETING AND DINNER was held on  MONDAY, JANUARY 7, 2013, at the Community Center, with over 140 in attendance.
 The Dinner was catered by Carrabba’s Italian Grill, and the music was provided by a group called, “The Breeze.”  Officers were elected for the 2013 year, with Treasurer, Tish Nelson;  Secretary, Glenda Vakoc;  Vice President, John Caton;  and President, Richard Northup.

The Arizona Traditions Pickleball Club has been organized to provide a fun, healthy, recreational activity for all residents (owners & renters) and their guests.
